Our Mission

The Landlords of Iowa, Inc. was formed to advance the general welfare of the rental housing industry in the state of Iowa. Our focus is to educate our members on the laws governing our industry and to promote responsibility of our members in providing rental property which meets all laws and regulations.

We have 1000 members, most of which are members of one of the 15 local chapters throughout the state. The remaining members are considered "at large" members. You can find more information about the Local Chapters, such as when they meet and who to contact. If you would like to join as an "at large" member, go to the application page and complete it according to the instructions.

Each fall, we sponsor a state convention to help educate our members on laws, regulations, landlording, and other topics of importance to our industry. Be sure and check out our upcoming Conventions.
