We have a duplex that had the main floor flooded. The upper unit of the duplex was not flooded however it has taken us some time to restore conveniences. Electricity was restored within 2 weeks. We worked with the tenant on July rent as we have not been able to provide hot water or gas for the range. She now has hot water, but still will not pay the full rent. Can we deliver a 3 day notice to quit under the circumstances of a natural disaster? We feel that we have been as accomodating as we could be under the conditions and would like to just have this tenant move out so we can get a more reliable tenant in there.
