30-Day Notice

Is a thirty-day notice required in the state of Iowa? From out of state and did not see this in the lease I'm signing. Nothing is listed in the lease about termination of the lease except for the lease ending on the 31st (in 2009), and it's a year long lease, not month-to-month or anything.
